Intermediate web guides are used within a converting machine right before any critical process to assure correct alignment of the web.

There are two types of intermediate guides: Displacement or offset web guides and steering or remotely pivoted web guides.

Displacement/Offset Pivot Web Guides

Displacement guides or offset-pivot web guides are one of the most commonly used intermediate web guide. They are ideal web guides since they impose the least amount of stress on the web.
